Big Tom's Cabin by Yosemite, lake and trails Free Wifi

We had a good experience, but won't return due to steep driveway. Positive: It is conveniently located near Yosemite. The communication was clear. The house is spacious, and the beds are good. The kitchen is relatively well equipped. Negative: The main drawback, which definitely prevents returning there, is the very steep driveway. I read about it in other reviews, but since I have a car with relatively high ground clearance, I didn't pay attention. As a result, I scratched both the front bumper and the car exhaust pipe, no matter which way I tried to go in and out. The community's strict parking rules made it hard to find another place to leave the car. The knives were blunt, some dishes were dirty, and the coffee maker was dirty. DVD player in the living room doesn't work.

Great stay, will come back! Positive: The house was very nice, clean and had what we needed. We appreciated the directions to the house given in the email as they were very helpful. Negative: Im just being picky here, i only would have liked either blinds or darker curtains in the rooms to have been able to sleep in and maybe an option to cover the window next to the door. Like i said this is just being picky nothing horrible.

Owner completely disregarded our complaint as to the added charge to get into the property. Positive: No breakfast Negative: Surprise $51.50 USD charge to enter the community area in order to get to the property. No admission permitted without paying this charge. No stated in the text when choosing this property.

Positive: Spacious and clean, very homie.

We used Tom's as a jump off point to explore Yosemite, Sonora, and Columbia State Historic Park. Positive: The location gave us access to Yosemite in about 45 minutes. Negative: Not wild about being in a gated community, but for safety and security, it was a good thing.
